Fluke 1623-2 GEO Earth Ground Resistance Meter

The Fluke 1623-2 GEO Earth Ground Resistance Metre is an indispensable tool for measuring earth loop resistances using stakes or current clamps. This device conducts measurements using two methods: the Stakeless method and the Stake method.

The Fluke 1623-2 earth tester can measure ground loop resistances for multi-grounded systems using only current clamps in the Stakeless method. This method removes all of the risks and time-consuming activities associated with disconnecting parallel grounds and finding acceptable locations for supplemental ground stakes. It enables you to conduct ground testing in places you might not have considered before, such as inside buildings, on power pylons, or anywhere else where access to soil is restricted.

It is crucial to note that the Stakeless approach is only successful if the building or structure being examined has a bonded earth ground system. When there is only one way to ground, as is common in many residential applications, the Fall-of-Potential test method, which necessitates the use of stakes, must be used. As a result, the Fluke 1623-2 GEO Earth Ground Resistance Metre provides exact ground resistance measurement and contributes to the improvement of safety and electrical systems.
