Fluke 1630-2 FC Earth Ground Clamp
The Fluke 1630-2 FC Earth Ground Clamp is an electrical testing tool that is used to evaluate ground resistance in electrical systems. Fluke Corporation, a well-known maker of electronic test and measurement equipment, created it.
Using the dual-clamp jaw, the Fluke 1630-2 FC clamp monitors earth ground loop resistances for multi-grounded systems. This test method eliminates the risky and time-consuming task of disconnecting parallel grounds, as well as the process of locating acceptable places for supplementary test stakes. You can also conduct ground tests in previously challenging locations, such as inside buildings, on electrical pylons, or anywhere you don’t have access to soil to install supplemental test stakes.
The Fluke 1630 2 fc Earth Ground Clamp features:
- Earth Ground Resistance Measurement: The clamp is used to check whether the grounding system fulfills safety standards and provides adequate protection against electrical problems.
- True RMS Measurement: To offer precise measurements of both sinusoidal and non-sinusoidal waveforms, the gadget employs True RMS (Root Mean Square) technology.
- Wireless connection: The “FC” in the product name stands for “Fluke Connect,” indicating that the clamp has wireless connection capabilities. It may send measurement data to a smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled device, allowing for remote monitoring and data logging.
