Megger SMRT410 Relay Tester

The Megger SMRT410D is a multipurpose, lightweight, field-portable test set that can assess a range of motor overload relays, electro-mechanical protective relays, solid-state protective relays, and microprocessor-based protective relays, among other protective devices.

The device can be controlled manually using the built-in touchscreen user interface (STVI) or fully automated using the Relay Test Management Software (RTMS), which runs on a PC. The device can also be utilized with third-party applications, such as National Instruments LabVIEWTM, thanks to the open communication design.

The Smart Touch-View InterfaceTM (STVI), Megger’s second generation of automatic/semi-automatic manual user interface software, is the built-in user interface. It features a sizable, simple-to-read, full-color, high-resolution, high-definition TFT LCD touch-screen display that shows meter values including AC and DC amperes, AC and DC volts, and time in both seconds and cycles. Other values may be displayed, such as Phase Angle, Frequency, Ohms, Watts, VA, or Power Factor, depending on the type of test chosen.

Key Features of the Megger SMRT410

The SMRT410 is capable of testing a wide range of relay types, including overcurrent, distance, differential, voltage, and frequency relays. Its dynamic range and high power output make it suitable for testing both electromechanical relays and modern digital relays that require precise variable test settings and measurements.

One of the standout features of the SMRT410 is its modular design, which allows for easy expansion and customization according to specific testing needs. Each module is designed to work independently or together, providing flexibility and scalability in a compact form factor. This makes the SMRT410 not only powerful but also a future-proof investment as testing requirements evolve.
