Overview

The Milwaukee MI411 PRO is a portable photometer that measures both free and total chlorine and pH — the two parameters most important for disinfection control. Covering 0.00 to 5.00 mg/L of Cl2 and a 6.5 to 8.0 pH range, it is ideal for swimming pools, spas and treated water where chlorine and pH must be balanced together.

A tungsten lamp with a 525 nm narrow-band interference filter and a silicon photocell detector deliver stable photometric results, using an adaptation of USEPA method 330.5 and Standard Method 4500-Cl G for chlorine and the phenol red method for pH. Portable and powered by a single 9 V battery, the MI411 comes with glass cuvettes for immediate testing.
