SATIR YRH600 Mining Thermal Camera

Overview

The SATIR YRH600 is a handheld thermal imaging camera purpose-built to withstand the harsh conditions of the coal-mining industry. Its housing is manufactured from reinforced industrial plastic and the camera uses an explosion-proof, field-replaceable lithium-ion battery, making it suitable for use in demanding underground and industrial environments.

Based on an uncooled 160×120 focal plane array detector with 8–14µm spectral response and 80 mK thermal sensitivity, the YRH600 captures clear thermal images and stores radiometric .SAT data with full 14-bit measurement information. A built-in Class 2 laser pointer and composite video output support fast inspection and documentation of hot spots in mining machinery, conveyors and electrical installations.
