Overview

The Emerson AMS Trex Device Communicator (TREXLFPKLWS3S) is a rugged, portable tool for configuring, calibrating and managing both HART and Foundation Fieldbus field instruments. It brings powerful processing and an intuitive colour touchscreen to the plant floor, giving technicians full access to device commissioning, calibration and asset-management functions wherever the instrument is installed.

Powered by an 800 MHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor with 512 MB DDR3 SDRAM and the Windows Embedded Compact 2013 operating system, this model drives a 5.7-inch colour VGA resistive touchscreen and adds Wi-Fi, NFC and USB connectivity. Certified intrinsically safe to ATEX, IECEx and CSA, with an IP54 enclosure that survives a 1-metre drop, it is built for hazardous and demanding process environments.
