At the core of the MPAC208-IECEx is a 208-channel MEMS microphone array, capable of detecting ultrasonic sound across 2 kHz to 100 kHz. This high sensitivity allows the camera to identify small leaks, early mechanical wear, and developing partial discharge activity before they become serious failures.
The system combines acoustic information with a 13 MP optical camera and displays real-time sound images on an 8-inch capacitive touchscreen. This gives operators a clear visual overlay of sound sources, making it easier to locate faults, document findings, and take corrective action.

Captures PD activity and provides PRPD analysis, supporting early detection and classification of partial discharge types in high-voltage electrical assets.
Mechanical Mode
Detects ultrasonic patterns associated with bearing wear, valve leakage, cavitation, vibration-related deterioration, and other mechanical faults.
Optional Thermal Correlation
When fitted with the optional thermal imaging module, the MPAC208-IECEx enables side-by-side acoustic and thermal inspection. This helps users compare temperature changes with ultrasonic activity for more accurate fault diagnosis and root cause analysis.
