The Anemometer PCE-AM 45 measures wind speed using a 65 mm (2.5″) vane wheel. It accurately measures speeds within a range of 0.3 to 45.0 m/s (0.9 to 147 ft/s). Besides speed measurement, it also performs volume flow measurements. The device not only displays the measured speed but also indicates wind force levels on the Beaufort scale, which is stored within the anemometer for direct reference.

Depending on the orientation of the impeller, the wind direction can also be determined with the multifunction humidity meter. This is made possible by the built-in gyroscope of the anemometer PCE-AM 45. At the same time, the current ambient temperature between 0 … 45 °C / 32 …113 °F is displayed on the anemometer.

With the integrated data memory of 960 readings, individual readings can be saved at the push of a button in the multifunction anemometer pceam 45. All measured values ​​can be transferred to a PC via the micro USB data interface. With the software on the PCE download portal, the values ​​measured by the anemometer can be analyzed and processed.
