Overview

The Kyoritsu KEW 7229A is a genuine four-wire test lead set for earth-resistance and soil-resistivity measurement. It comprises colour-coded cables of generous length — a red 40 m cable and green, yellow and black cables of 20 m each — to connect the instrument to the earth electrode and to the auxiliary spikes needed for 3-pole and 4-pole (Wenner) measurements. The long leads allow the wide spike spacing that soil-resistivity surveys require.

The KEW 7229A is designed specifically for use with the Kyoritsu KEW 4106 earth resistance and resistivity tester. Using the correct genuine leads ensures accurate, safe measurements, and keeping a spare set on hand avoids downtime if a lead is damaged.
