Kyoritsu KEW 7084 Earth and Guard Leads (5000 mm)

Overview

The Kyoritsu KEW 7084 is a genuine long earth and guard lead set for Kyoritsu insulation testers. At approximately 5000 mm it provides both the earth (line) connection and the guard connection, giving plenty of reach for testing large machines, long cable runs and installations where the earth point is some distance away.

The guard lead is important in high-resistance insulation testing: connected to the test object’s guard ring, it diverts surface-leakage current away from the measuring circuit so that only the true insulation resistance is measured. Using the correct genuine leads ensures accurate, safe measurements and full compatibility with the instrument.
