SPM Vibration transmitters
The SPM Vibration transmitters are devices used to monitor the vibration of industrial machinery. They measure the vibration velocity across the machine’s frequency range and provide a 4-20 mA output signal proportional to the vibration. This signal can be transmitted to common process control systems like PLC, DCS, and SCADA. Vibration transmitters come in various sizes, configurations, and specifications to suit your specific needs. All transmitters are internally isolated. When permanently installed, the frequency range is specified for the transmitter. However, when using a magnetic foot, the measuring results will be affected at higher frequencies.
The SPM Vibration transmitters come in 4-20 mA vibration transmitters with top entry/cable types. The Vibration transmitters’ part numbers and specifications are shown in the table below.
TB = 2-pin connector MIL-C-5015
TD = 4-pin M12 connector

How do SPM Vibration Transmitters work?
SPM vibration transmitters are piezo-electric accelerometers of compression type. Each transmitter is individually tuned and has a built-in preamplifier. The electrical signal coming from the transmitter gives a reflection of all events happening in the machine. It shows the time between events and how much energy is generated from the event. The transmitters operate using power from any standard 4-20 mA loop. No additional power is necessary. The transmitters are designed to withstand the rigors of industrial environments. Stainless, acid-proof steel housings, case isolation, and hermetic sealing make them very durable.
Benefits
SPM vibration transmitters come in various sizes, configurations, and specifications to perfectly suit your needs. All transmitters are internally isolated. The frequency range is specified for the transmitter when permanently installed. When using a magnetic foot, the measuring results will be affected at higher frequencies.
