MET ONE MSO Weather Sensor

Overview

The Met One MSO is an integrated 5-parameter weather sensor that measures wind speed, wind direction, temperature, relative humidity and barometric pressure in a single unit. Wind speed and direction use conventional cup-and-vane techniques, while the temperature, humidity and pressure sensors are housed in a multi-plate naturally aspirated radiation shield.

The MSO outputs data over RS-232, RS-485 and SDI-12 at a 1 Hz rate, operating from 8–36 VDC across -40 to +60 °C. Its all-in-one design and low power draw make it a cost-effective choice for meteorological, agricultural and general environmental monitoring.
