Met One E-BAM Portable Environmental Beta-Attenuation Mass Monitor

Overview

The Met One E-BAM is a portable, real-time beta-attenuation mass monitor comparable to U.S. EPA methods for PM2.5 and PM10 measurement. Built for rapid deployment, it delivers regulatory-grade particulate data in the field without a permanent shelter — making it ideal for emergency response, dust monitoring, wildfire smoke and temporary air-quality studies.

The E-BAM measures particulate mass by beta attenuation at a controlled 16.7 L/min flow, with selectable TSP, PM10, PM2.5 or PM1 inlets and averaging intervals from 1 to 60 minutes. A 4.3-inch touchscreen and RS-485/RS-232/USB communications make it easy to set up and integrate into monitoring networks.
