The PCE-DRU 1 is a handheld digital refractometer specifically designed for measuring the urea concentration in AdBlue, a diesel exhaust fluid used in vehicles to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions. This refractometer can measure AdBlue content ranging from 0 to 51%, refractive index from 1.3330 to 1.4056 nD, and temperature from 0 to 40°C (32 to 104°F). Its measurement speed is approximately 1 second, requiring only 4 to 5 drops of liquid for a sample. The device’s large digital LCD displays both the measured value and the temperature for ease of reading.
