Overview

The Hach TU5200 EPA Benchtop Laser Turbidimeter (order no. LPV442.99.01012, without RFID) provides accurate laboratory turbidity measurement compliant with EPA Method 180.1. Its embedded 650 nm Class 2 laser and groundbreaking 360° × 90° detection technology capture far more scattered light than conventional nephelometers, delivering high precision and very low stray-light interference on low-turbidity samples.

Part of the TU5 series, the TU5200 EPA measures across a 0–700 NTU range with 0.0001 NTU resolution and selectable signal averaging, and stores up to 1000 measurements. Guided on-screen workflows simplify calibration and verification, while this model without RFID offers the same measurement performance where online-to-lab RFID comparison is not required.
