The NOVOTEST T-UD3 Combined Hardness Tester offers two indirect hardness measurement methods: Ultrasonic Contact Impedance (per ASTM A1038) and Leeb (per ASTM A956), making it one of the most versatile portable devices available globally.

By connecting both probes, users benefit from the strengths of each method, allowing them to select the most appropriate one for their specific application. The NOVOTEST T-UD3 enables hardness testing on all types of metals, parts of various shapes and thicknesses, surface-hardened layers, and also provides tensile strength evaluation.
