Overview

The Milwaukee MI407 PRO is a portable low-range photometer for measuring ammonia in water. Covering 0.00 to 3.00 mg/L of ammonia nitrogen (NH3-N), it is ideal for sensitive low-level monitoring in aquaculture, aquariums and environmental water, giving clear digital readings without the guesswork of visual test kits.

A blue LED at 466 nm with a matching narrow-band interference filter and a silicon photocell detector deliver stable photometric results, following an adaptation of the Nessler method. Portable and powered by a single 9 V battery, the MI407 comes with glass cuvettes for immediate testing.
