Overview

The Milwaukee MW12 Digital Phosphate Tester is a compact photometer for precise measurement of phosphate in water. Using LED-based photometric technology, it gives clear digital readings and removes the guesswork of visual colour-comparison test kits, making phosphate testing fast and consistent.

The reaction between phosphate and the supplied reagent produces a blue tint whose intensity the meter measures at 525 nm, following an adaptation of the ascorbic acid method from Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater. Powered by a single AAA battery with automatic shut-off, the pocket-sized MW12 is easy to carry and use in the field or laboratory.
