Overview

The Milwaukee MW14 Digital Iron Tester is a compact photometer for precise measurement of iron in water. Using LED-based photometric technology, it gives clear digital readings and removes the guesswork of visual colour-comparison test kits, making iron testing fast and consistent.

The reaction between iron and the supplied reagent produces an orange tint whose intensity the meter measures at 525 nm, following an adaptation of the USEPA phenanthroline method. Powered by a single AAA battery with automatic shut-off, the pocket-sized MW14 is easy to carry and use in the field or laboratory.
