Overview

The Milwaukee MW13 Digital Iodine Tester is a compact photometer for precise measurement of iodine in water. Using LED-based photometric technology, it gives clear digital readings and removes the guesswork of visual colour-comparison test kits, making iodine testing fast and consistent.

The reaction between iodine and the supplied reagent produces a pink tint whose intensity the meter measures at 525 nm, following an adaptation of the DPD method from Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater. Powered by a single AAA battery with automatic shut-off, the pocket-sized MW13 is easy to carry and use in the field or laboratory.
