Overview

The Milwaukee MA885 Digital Refractometer is designed for wine and beverage professionals who need fast, reliable sugar measurement. It reads in three scales used throughout winemaking — % Brix, °Oechsle (°Oe) and °KMW (°Babo) — from a single small sample, helping growers and winemakers track ripeness and must quality with confidence.

A digital display removes the difficulty of reading an optical scale, and automatic temperature compensation keeps results consistent between 10 and 40 °C. Measurement takes about 1.5 seconds and needs only two drops of sample, while the rugged IP65 housing suits use in the vineyard, cellar or laboratory.
