Kyoritsu KEW 8126 High-Accuracy Load Current Clamp Sensor (200 A)

Overview

The Kyoritsu KEW 8126 is a high-accuracy load current clamp sensor optimised for measuring lower AC currents precisely. Clamped around a conductor, it outputs a low-level voltage proportional to the current, which is fed to a compatible Kyoritsu power meter or power quality analyzer. With a 2.5 mV/A output it gives a larger signal per ampere than the higher-range sensors, so smaller currents are measured with better resolution and accuracy.

The KEW 8126 is rated for AC current up to 200 A through a 40 mm jaw, with an accuracy of ±0.5% at 50/60 Hz and a tight phase shift (within ±1.0°) for accurate power and power-factor measurement. It connects via an approximately 3 m lead with a MINI DIN 6-pin plug and is designed for use with Kyoritsu instruments such as the KEW 5010, 5020, 5050, 6300, 6305, 6310 and 6315.
