Overview

The Hioki 9290-10 is a clamp-on current adapter that extends the current-measurement range of clamp meters and multimeters. Rated for 1000 A continuous AC (up to 1500 A for short periods) with a 10:1 CT ratio, it converts high primary currents to a convenient 100 A secondary output. A large clamp diameter, broad 20 Hz to 5 kHz frequency characteristics and 600 V insulation rating make it ideal for measuring high currents on busbars and thick conductors safely.
