Overview

The Megger TPT420 is a rugged, professional two-pole voltage tester built for electricians, panel builders and maintenance engineers who need to prove dead and verify supplies quickly and safely. It combines a clear LED voltage ladder with a backlit LCD digital readout, so the presence and level of voltage can be seen at a glance while an exact value is displayed alongside. The TPT420 measures from 12 to 1000 V AC and 12 to 1500 V DC, indicating polarity and stepping through the LED ladder at standard voltage thresholds. Beyond simple voltage indication it offers continuity testing with visual and audible alarms, phase-rotation checking, single-pole phase detection and a load-switching function that lets it operate below RCD/RCBO tripping thresholds. It complies with EN 61243-3 and is supplied with GS38-compliant probe shrouds for safe use.
