Kyoritsu KEW 6010B Multifunction Installation Tester

Overview

The Kyoritsu KEW 6010B is a sophisticated 6-in-1 multifunction installation tester that combines continuity, insulation, loop impedance, RCD, contact voltage and mains-voltage testing in one instrument. It performs continuity tests on the 20/200 Ω ranges with a short-circuit current greater than 200 mA, and insulation-resistance tests up to 200 MΩ at 500 V or 1000 V. Loop impedance is measured up to 2000 Ω, and RCD testing covers 10 to 500 mA at ×½ and ×1 multipliers plus a fast test, while contact voltage (Uc) is measured up to 100 V. A live-circuit warning LED and built-in overload protection on the continuity and insulation circuits keep the user safe, and it is rated CAT III 300 V.
