Overview

The Kyoritsu KEW 6516-EV2 is a multifunction tester kit that pairs the KEW 6516 installation tester with the KEW 8602 EVSE adapter, purpose-built to conduct a comprehensive range of tests on electric-vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) under various conditions. The KEW 6516 provides the full suite of installation tests — insulation, earth continuity, earth resistance, voltage and phase rotation, RCD, and loop impedance — while the EVSE adapter lets these be applied safely to EV charging points. Anti-trip technology allows loop testing without tripping RCDs, high-resolution loop-impedance measurement improves accuracy, and a Zs/Ra limit function simplifies verification of safety requirements in electrical installations.
