The Extech SL400 is a personal noise dosimeter equipped with a USB interface, designed to perform noise exposure assessments and compliance surveys according to standards set by OSHA, MSHA, DOD, ACGIH, and ISO. This device is capable of measuring frequency weighted noise exposure and peak sound levels, and can log up to 999,999 readings when used as a sound level meter with sampling intervals ranging from 1 second to 24 hours.

Monitoring sound levels is essential to determine what protective measures are needed for employees who are regularly exposed to high noise levels. With the Extech SL400 dosimeter, you can perform noise measurements that comply with OSHA, MSHA, DOD, ACGIH and ISO standards. The SL400 Cumulative Noise Study can determine total noise exposure over an 8-hour period.

This compact, lightweight dosimeter can also be used as a sound level meter, collecting up to 999,999 readings with sampling at intervals from 1 second to 24 hours. Optional 94 dB calibration kit allows pre- and post-calibration testing to ANSI standards.The SL400 comes with PC software for configuration control and retrieval of stored events as well as real-time analysis of measurements.
