The FLIR G346 is a cutting-edge optical gas detection (OGI) camera specifically designed to detect carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen oxide (N₂O), and other hazardous and environmentally harmful gases in steel mills and industrial manufacturing facilities. CO emissions can significantly threaten primary steelmaking operations, as even minor leaks in exhaust stacks or pipes can have severe consequences.

The FLIR G346 precisely measures temperatures ranging from -20 °C to 300 °C (-4 °F to 482 °F) in real time.
