FLIR K85 High-Performance Thermal Camera
The FLIR K85 is a premium Thermal Imaging Camera (TIC) engineered to help firefighters navigate through the toughest conditions with confidence. Unlike standard thermal cameras, the K85 utilizes FLIR’s proprietary FSX™ (Flexible Scene Enhancement) technology. This innovation sharpens thermal images by extracting structural details (like edges and corners) from the internal visual camera and overlaying them onto the thermal image. The result is an ultra-clear picture that allows users to see building layouts, obstacles, and victims through the darkest smoke.
Designed for the extreme heat of the fireground, the K85 measures temperatures up to 650°C (1202°F) and produces images with a high resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. Its oversized 4-inch LCD screen provides distinct visibility, while the simple 3-button interface ensures it can be operated easily with heavy firefighting gloves. With the ability to store up to 200 radiometric images for post-incident reporting and an IP67 durability rating, the FLIR K85 is an indispensable tool for Search & Rescue (SAR) and structural firefighting.
