Kyoritsu KEW 8343 Signal Source for Socket Tester

Overview

The Kyoritsu KEW 8343 is a signal source designed specifically for use with the KEW 4506 Intelligent Socket Tester. Used together, the two significantly enhance the capabilities of the socket tester — particularly in complex electrical environments — by extending testing onto TN-S earthing systems and helping to detect wiring issues that a standard socket tester cannot identify. The KEW 8343 injects a small test signal (approximately 1.8 kHz, ~20 mV rms) around conductors up to Ø24 mm and tolerates up to 300 V AC. It cannot operate independently and must be used in conjunction with the KEW 4506.
