With more than 25,000 pixels, the Leica DMC III camera offers the largest image area that can be produced with a single image. That’s 25% more area performance than the next best system. Thank you to revolutionary forward motion compensation, this solution delivers unprecedented image quality and the unmatched geometric accuracy of a monolithic sensor.

The Leica DMC III is the first large-format camera to use CMOS sensor technology, overcoming the limitations of conventional CCD technology.
