The Megger MFT1825 builds on the MFT1800 platform with a low-current 15 mA continuity test and three-phase RCD testing, giving electricians extra capability for sensitive and three-phase installations. Compliant with IEC 60364 and BS 7671, it covers insulation, non-tripping/high-current/phase-to-phase loop, RCD and earth testing with true-RMS voltage measurement in a rugged CAT IV 300 V, IP54 instrument.

• Insulation testing — 250 V, 500 V and 1000 V test voltages, 10 kΩ to 999 MΩ.
• Dual continuity currents — 200 mA and 15 mA continuity, 0.01 Ω to 99.9 kΩ.
• Full loop testing — 2/3-wire non-tripping L-PE, 2-wire high-current and phase-to-phase L-L, 0.01 Ω to 999 Ω; PFC to 20 kA.
• Three-phase RCD — Types AC, A and S with three-phase RCD testing and ½/1/2/5 × I test currents.
• Earth resistance — 2- and 3-pole earth-electrode testing, 0.01 Ω to 1.999 kΩ.
• True-RMS voltage — 10–600 V true-RMS measurement, 15–400 Hz.
• CAT IV 300 V & IP54 — rugged, weatherproof build; ~1 kg.
• Higher model — the MFT1835 adds Type B RCD, stakeless earth, Bluetooth and rechargeable batteries.
