Megger PAT420 Portable Appliance Tester

Overview

The Megger PAT420 is an advanced, data-logging portable appliance tester from Megger’s PAT400 range. As well as the full set of routine safety tests – earth bond and continuity, insulation resistance, substitute, differential and touch leakage, operational/load, portable RCD, extension-lead and fuse tests – it stores results in on-board memory and lets you enter asset details on a full QWERTY keypad, so records can be downloaded via USB for paperless reporting.

A hard 25 A earth-bond test (plus 10 A option) and dual-voltage insulation testing give it bench-grade capability, while data logging and download to Megger’s PowerSuite software make it ideal for organisations that manage large asset registers and need traceable, repeatable records.
