Overview

The Megger PVM210 is a compact, pocket-sized irradiance meter designed for photovoltaic installers and surveyors. Weighing just 90 g, it measures solar irradiance up to 1999 W/m² with 0.1 W/m² resolution, giving a fast, accurate reading of the sunlight falling on a surface – essential information when positioning panels for best performance.

Because a PV module’s output current is proportional to irradiance, the PVM210 also helps installers verify that an array is delivering the short-circuit current expected for the measured light level. A cosine-corrected sensor, measurement-hold function and single-handed operation make it ideal for use on rooftops, while long battery life and automatic power-off keep it practical for everyday site work.
