Megger REFLECTOMETER Teleflex VX

The Teleflex VX reflectometer represents a significant advancement in Megger’s Teleflex series, which is renowned for its specialization in power cable fault location. This latest model encapsulates cutting-edge technology, specifically tailored to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of diagnosing and locating faults within power cable systems.

The Teleflex VX is equipped with new hardware that offers significantly improved parameters compared to its predecessors. These enhancements include a higher sampling rate, wider pulse width, and increased pulse amplitude. Such advancements expand the device’s operational range to up to 1000 km, ensuring superior resolution and markedly improved measurement capabilities. These features make the Teleflex VX an ideal tool for maintaining the reliability and functionality of extensive power cable networks.

One of the standout features of the Teleflex VX is the ProRange function, which facilitates range-based gain adjustments. This innovative feature allows distant reflections to be displayed with the same amplitude as those from shorter distances, thereby enhancing the accuracy and clarity of the reflectometer’s readings. This functionality is crucial when working with long cable lengths, as it ensures that all segments of the cable are equally represented in the diagnostics, regardless of their distance from the source.

The Teleflex VX also excels in data management and transfer. Measurement data can be conveniently transferred via a USB drive, supporting both the MeggerBook Cable software format and PDF files, or it can be directly sent to a printer. This flexibility in data handling simplifies the process of recording, sharing, and analyzing diagnostic results, making it easier for technicians to make informed decisions on-site or in analysis follow-ups.
