Overview
The Megger TDS NT is an all-in-one cable test and diagnosis system that unites everything needed to assess a medium-voltage cable in one platform: VLF withstand testing, tan delta (DAC) diagnostics, partial-discharge measurement with live PD mapping, and sheath testing to IEC 60229. This lets utilities and contractors prove, diagnose and locate faults on a cable in a single connected workflow rather than using several separate instruments.
It is available in 40 kV and 60 kV versions, providing VLF, DAC and DC test voltages, and its integrated PDS 60 detector measures partial discharge from 2 pC with real-time localization up to 16 km. Operating software with an integrated database, automatic calibration and one-click reporting streamlines record keeping, while 50 Hz slope technology keeps PD results comparable to power-frequency operation for reliable diagnosis.
