MET ONE Aerocet 831 Handheld Aerosol Mass Monitor

Overview

The Met One Aerocet 831 is a fully portable, battery-operated handheld aerosol mass monitor. It simultaneously reports five critical mass fractions — PM1, PM2.5, PM4, PM10 and TSP — within one minute of start-up, making it ideal for indoor air quality, industrial hygiene and outdoor survey work.

Using a laser-diode sensor and a 0.1 cfm (2.83 lpm) sample flow, the Aerocet 831 measures mass concentration from 0 to 1000 µg/m³ with 0.1 µg/m³ resolution. A rechargeable Li-ion battery gives up to eight hours of continuous use, and 2,500 records can be stored and downloaded via USB for analysis.
