MET ONE BT620 is a compact, battery-powered particle counter with six selectable size channels, an integrated printer, and a portable stainless steel case. The device’s flow rate is 1.0 CFM (28.3 LPM) and is maintained with volumetric flow control to improve accuracy. This benchtop particle counter features a large, easy-to-read display, audible alarms, and an internal printer that works together to check particle levels. When the particle count exceeds the user-preset limit, the
‘s audible alarm will sound and the display, sample history, and printout will indicate an alarm event. Two programmable count alarm limits can be set.

Ideal for use in cleanrooms, the BT-620 has been designed to easily integrate with existing building automation systems, building software, and processors, or used as a standalone unit.

The operator can individually configure each of the six channels from 0.3 to 10 microns without the need for custom calibration. In addition to user-selectable sizes, the device has a user-adjustable sample time, and user-identifiable site IDs, and stores over 8,000 sample events.

Historical event examples can be viewed using Met One’s ParticleView or Comet software, or simple ASCII terminal commands, or printed and downloaded to a computer. Real-time monitoring is available with an optional software upgrade to ParticleView RT. The device can be easily integrated into MODBUS multipoint networks and installation software. Connectivity is built-in for both digital (Ethernet, USB, RS-232, RS-485) and analog (0-5 VDC) output. The BT-620 also includes a memory card connector.

The printer offers two modes of operation: Print sample prints sample data at the end of each sample, including alarm, date, time, and location; Get Data prints all sample data from the first selected date and time to the second selected date and time.

A plug-and-play option can instantly add ambient temperature and relative humidity to the displayed and logged data.
