MET ONE Emergency Response Weather Station, CAMEO/ALOHA HAZMAT

Overview

The Met One Emergency Response Weather Station is a lightweight, low-power, rapidly deployable first-response weather station designed for CAMEO/ALOHA HAZMAT modelling. Built around the AIO 2 sonic weather sensor, it measures wind speed and direction, temperature, humidity and barometric pressure, and streams ALOHA-compatible data to support plume and dispersion prediction during incidents.

The station sets up in minutes with no tools or orientation required, thanks to its built-in flux-gate compass and radio telemetry. A rechargeable 8 Ah battery gives more than five days of operation, with an optional higher-capacity battery and solar charger, and 902–928 MHz telemetry provides 1–2 miles (up to ~20 miles extended) line-of-sight range.
