Met One ES-405 Simultaneous Particulate Profiler

Overview

The Met One ES-405 is a near-reference air-quality sensor that simultaneously provides accurate, real-time measurements of PM10, PM4, PM2.5 and PM1 particle concentrations. Using right-angle laser light-scatter detection with active flow control, it delivers continuous multi-fraction particulate data for community, industrial and regulatory-adjacent monitoring.

The ES-405 samples at 1.0 lpm with a sheath-air system for optical stability and 0.1 µg/m³ resolution. An OLED display, RS-485/RS-232/USB communications with Modbus support, and an optional CCS cloud modem make it easy to integrate into monitoring networks.
