Overview

The Met One NPM 3 Network Particulate Monitor is an advanced instrument for accurate, continuous measurement of airborne particulate matter. Built for reliability with reduced maintenance, it connects to laptops, data loggers and CCS+ Comet Cloud modems over a serial connection, so real-time data can be retrieved and analysed immediately or stored for later review.

The NPM 3 uses a 5 mW diode laser and a protective optical enclosure for safe, accurate operation. Met One’s user-friendly Comet software allows real-time data viewing and logging in .csv format, while K-factor calibration with 0.6 µm latex microspheres ensures precise readings.
