Overview

The Met One PARTAC Tactical Particulate Profiler (P/N 102686) is a rugged, adaptable instrument for precise, real-time particulate-matter profiling in demanding tactical scenarios. It serves as an NBC (nuclear, biological, chemical) agent alarm trigger, a public and workplace ambient monitor, and a ground-truth reference for confirming standoff particulate detectors.

Using laser light-scattering particle counting, the PARTAC monitors up to eight user-selectable size channels simultaneously and delivers continuous, real-time data. Its customizable channels can flag particle sizes associated with hazardous NBC agents, generating alarms and activating additional samplers and sensors. A compact design with low power consumption and continuous-duty capability makes it well suited to fixed and mobile deployments.
