The Milwaukee MA887 Digital Salinity Refractometer is a trusted tool for precise salinity measurement in aquaculture, marine biology, reef tanks, saltwater aquariums, environmental labs and water-quality testing. By reading the refractive index of a small sample, it reports salinity in practical salinity units, parts per thousand and specific gravity — all from one quick measurement.

A digital display removes the difficulty of interpreting an optical scale, and automatic temperature compensation keeps readings accurate between 10 and 40 °C. Measurement takes about 1.5 seconds and needs only two drops of sample, while the rugged IP65 housing suits both laboratory and field use.
