Mitech MH320 Leeb Hardness Tester:

Overview 

Based on the Leeb hardness measurement concept, the Mitech MH320 portable Leeb hardness tester supports free conversion between the Leeb, Brinell, Rockwell, and other hardness scales. It may be rapidly and conveniently utilized for on-site testing of the hardness of metallic materials.

LCD screen& printer:

Mitech MH320 has a 128 x 64 dot matrix LCD screen, abundant information, user-friendly, consistent performance, and an integrated high-speed thermal printer that allows printing of measurements with immediate results.It has several applications in the manufacture and processing of metals, specialized equipment, permanent component failure analysis, inspection, and other areas. Large and non-removable portions of the on-site hardness testing are particularly suited for it. It is a smart decision to reduce manufacturing costs since it will increase production efficiency and pass rate.

Working Principle

The impact body’s impact and rebound velocities are used to determine the energy quotient, which is expressed in the hardness unit HL. Because it bounces back from harder samples more quickly than from softer ones, the energy quotient, which is defined as 1000Vr/Vi, is higher. HL=1000×Vr/ Vi

HL– Leeb hardness value.

Vr – Rebound velocity of the impact body.

Vi – Impact velocity of the impact body.
