This IP67 ABSOLUTE (Mitutoyo 500-714-20) digital caliper provides reliable measurement in a wide range of situations and excellent resistance to water and dust (protection level IP67) which allows for use in machining situations involving coolant spray.
It is dustproof, conforms to EN60529 and withstands temporary full submersion in water without damaging it.
The ABS (ABSOLUTE) scale does not need to set the origin after it is turned on and has no limit to the response speed.

Function

1 Before taking a measurement, be sure to “zero”/reset the LCD readout.

2 When the display reads “0”, begin moving the thumb until the inner or outer jaws make solid contact with the item.

3 Read the exterior (lower) diameter of an object with the outer (lower) jaws and measure the inner (upper) diameter with the inner (upper) jaws.
