The force gauge measures compressive and tensile forces with very high resolution. For instance, the test lab typically uses tensile force and compressive force to calculate the yield strength, pull-off force, and force required to trigger a pushbutton or switch. The force gauge is packaged with an external measurement cell. Depending on the type, the force gauge can measure up to 10,000 N / 2,248 lbs.

Models for 1,000 N/225 lbs, 2,500 N/56 lbs, and 5,000 N/1,124 lbs are still available. With M10 or M12 thread, the measuring cells can handle a variety of eyelets or hooks, but you can also attach your own devices to the measuring cell.

The force gauge has a USB interface for transferring measurement data to PC software. It has a graphic LCD that shows numerical and graphical representations of data and is protected to IP54 standards for use in harsh environments.
