Particle-Counter PCE-MPC-25
The particle counter PCE-MPC 25 is used in offices, workshops, or laboratories to take indicative measurements of environmental conditions. In addition to the number of particles, the device determines the mass concentration of PM2.5 and PM10 in the measuring range 0 … 1000 µg/m³. In addition, ambient temperature and humidity are measured. With the alarm limit function, limit values for PM2.5 can be set in the device.
During a measurement, it is possible to record the values measured with the Environmental Tester. The particle counter has a memory with a storage capacity of approx. 12 measuring cycles with 999 measuring points each. The interval can be set to different times in the device. After recording, the measurement data recorded by the Environmental Tester can be transferred to a computer. The device is connected to any computer via the micro USB interface in order to transfer measurement data. Since the computer recognizes the Temperature Data Logger as a mass data storage device, the Environmental Meter is independent of the operating system. The measurement data saved by the particle counter are saved in PDF format.
In addition to data transfer, the 8 Wh battery can also be charged via the micro USB interface. The battery used in the particle counter enables an operating time of approx. 9 hours. Therefore, the device can measure for a full working day before it needs to be recharged. Since the battery is not permanently installed in the Air Sampler, it can be easily replaced.
