Overview

The SATIR NV618S is a dual-field automotive imaging camera that combines a 640×480 thermal sensor with a separate low-light night-vision camera in a single rugged housing. The thermal channel reveals pedestrians, animals and vehicles by their heat in complete darkness, while the low-light channel makes faces and licence plates visible in dim conditions.

This dual-mode design lets drivers and security operators switch between thermal imaging for long-range hazard detection and low-light vision for identification detail. With an IP67-rated body and wide operating temperature range, the NV618S is built for demanding automotive, patrol and surveillance use.
