The SPM Vibration transducers are piezo-electric accelerometers of compression type, each individually tuned, with a built-in preamplifier designed for vibration monitoring of industrial machinery. The electrical signal coming from the transducer gives a reflection of all events happening in the machine. It shows the time between events and how much energy is generated from the event. Vibration transducers come in various sizes, configurations, and specifications to perfectly suit your needs. All transducers are internally isolated. The frequency range is specified for the transducer when permanently installed. When using a magnetic foot, the measuring results will be affected at higher frequencies.

The transducers are piezo-electric accelerometers of compression type. Each transducer is individually tuned and has a built-in preamplifier. The electrical signal coming from the transducer gives a reflection of all events happening in the machine. It shows the time between events and how much energy is generated from the event. The transducer reacts with a large amplitude oscillation to the weak shock pulses, because it is excited at its resonance frequency of 32 kHz. Machine vibration, of a much lower frequency, is filtered out. The filtered transducer signal reflects the pressure variation in the rolling interface of the bearing.
