Overview

The Megger 1016-920 Thermal Camera module is a high-performance attachment that expands the diagnostic capabilities of the Megger MPAC208 acoustic imaging camera. By adding a 384 × 288 thermal sensor, it lets engineers capture detailed thermal images alongside the MPAC208’s ultrasonic (acoustic) imaging – so hot spots and partial-discharge or leak sources can be identified together in a single inspection.

The module connects directly to a dedicated USB-C port on the MPAC208 (and MPAC208-IECEx) camera, keeping the setup compact and field-portable. Combining thermal and acoustic diagnostics in one tool speeds up condition assessment of electrical assets, compressed-air systems and other equipment, making inspections more thorough and efficient.
